The 2016 golf season is under way with four returning players, Chandler France, Emma Alter, Jason Bliven, and Logan Daniels. The team is coached, once again, by Bud Hendrix and Eddie Francis.

“I really like being on team, it’s a lot of fun,” sophomore David Gradeless said.

The team’s first match was at the Carolina Club Golf Course against Currituck. The match did not go as well as the team had hoped, but it was a good experience.

“With only four returning players, there is a lot youth on the team,” France said. “We didn’t play that well in the first match, but it was a nice experience for the younger kids. The good thing about it is that they play a lot and improve on a daily basis.”
